| Sherman Oaks Veterinary Group, CA Description of Elective Experience: The student will be treating hospitalized animals as well as outpatient. We are a very busy hospital and see approximately 80 to 100 patients daily. We usually have four doctors every single day working so the student will have interaction with many different doctors. We also have specialist that come to our hospital Three days a week. We have cardiology internal medicine and a critical care. We have ultrasound available and Dr. Richter, the owner of the practice does many surgeries, including spinal knees any soft tissue as he has been practicing for 40+ years.
