Countryside Veterinary Service, OH Description of Elective Experience: Student will ride along on farm visits and perform and assist in dehorning calves, palpation and ultrasound exams cattle and horses, preventive medicine for dairy and beef herds, equine herds, captive deer, and small ruminant herds, equine dentistry and lameness evaluations, radiographs, bovine and equine field surgeries, equine artificial insemination, sick animal care and emergency calls.
