Description of Elective Experience

Spay and neuter procedures, medical case management within the shelter 

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

2 shelter locations, 3 DVMs,  3 RVTs, 5 VAs. 

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm hours, assist during surgical procedures, help with restraint, perform physical exams and work with DVM for diagnostic and treatment plans
