Description of Elective Experience

We are a busy 24/7 Emergency and Specialty, 12 doctors run ER, Dermatology, Oncology, and Surgery. We love putting students in all departments, diving into the workup, discussing rule outs, making action plans. Students can scrub in, perform certain centeses under our guidance, etc 

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

Surgery, CT, dentistry, ER ICU and triage, medical Oncology, Electrochemotherapy, ultrasound, etc 

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

8-10 hour days 3-4 days per week, into all services for shadowing then performing certain procedures together such as scrubbing in to hold in surgery, running CT, taking radiographs, abdomino and thoracocenteses, assist in unblocking cats, stabilizations and codes
