Description of Elective Experience

Students shadow our DVMs during oral surgery procedrues and consultations.

Dr. Curtis Stiles is a Dental Specialist. We also have a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Denstistry. We have advance imaging (CBCT), intraoral radiograph modalities, multiparameter monitoring, ventillator, CRI capability, as well as advanced dental equipment.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

Students are scheduled for four 10-hour days per week (Monday-Thursday). There is a list of learning objectives for each student. There are also some computer learning modules in dentistry for additional education.
