Description of Elective Experience

General Practice, majority small animal with occasional large animal/exotic experience. Diagnostics/Routine surgeries daily (dental procedures, OHE/Neuter, soft tissue, orthopedic, etc). 

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

We currently have 3 DVMs, 4 LVTs and several veterinary assistants working with our team. We offer in-house lab work (CBC,Chemistry,Snap Tests,Digital Radiographs,Dental Radiographs, etc.)

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

Students are expected to be available to work between the hours of 7:30 and 5:30 M-F, with their schedule varying weekly. We expect them to arrive ready to learn/help and shadow the DVM during the day.
