Our neurology service provides extensive neurologic care, including on-site MRI capabilities, neurosurgery, and hospitalization. The externship will provide Katelyn with a comprehensive experience covering surgeries, diagnostics, and both new patient and routine recheck appointments. The service provides consults and care to patients from referring primary care facilities, as well as patients who are admitted through the hospital's emergency service. Care for these patients often involves coordination with the hospital's other specialty departments, most often internal medicine or oncology.
Specialty services offered at TVRH include cardiology, diagnostic imaging (radiographs, ultrasound, CT, MRI), internal medicine, oncology, and surgery. Every service is staffed by board-certified specialty clinicians. The neurology service is run by Dr. Joshua Warren, and includes licensed RVTs as well as a technician who has completed their VTS-Neurology. The hospital is an emergency facility and is staffed 24/7, 365 days a year.
The neurology services operates Mon-Thurs, 8am-5pm.
