Town & Country Veterinary Hospital is an independently owned, small-animal general practice located in Media, PA, serving the greater Aston/Delaware County area. Our four-doctor team provides comprehensive wellness, medical, surgical, and dental care, with an emphasis on evidence-based, multimodal medicine. As a privately owned practice (not part of a corporate consolidator), we place a strong emphasis on continuity of care, client communication, and clinical autonomy. Students on elective rotation will be integrated into daily appointment flow, surgery, and case management alongside our doctors and support staff, gaining exposure to the operational and clinical realities of independent general practice.
Town & Country Veterinary Hospital is staffed by four DVMs, including practice owner Dr. Yoon Chay. The hospital utilizes Avimark practice management software, digital radiography, in-house bloodwork analyzers, ultrasound, dental radiography, surgical suite.
Students are expected on-site Monday–Friday +/- Saturday, 40hr per week. Students will primarily engage in hands-on clinical support — assisting with exams, surgery, dentistry, and treatment — under direct doctor and technician supervision. Students will be encouraged to participate and actually perform the job rather than shadowing alone.
