Description of Elective Experience

TVBS is a referral practice dedicated to the treatment of animals with behavior disorders.  Our practice sees primarliy dogs and cats but also the occasional horse or exotic pet.

1 DACVB., ABVP-Feline, 1 DACVIM and 4 general practicioners.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

Participation in clinical behavior cases including physical exams, lab sampling, behavior modification tasks, write up of discharge reports, and client communication.  Students are also expected to participate in outside CE opportunities as available during their rotation.
