Description of Elective Experience

Teton Equine is a mobile equine veterinary practice, we travel to various ranches and provide equine services. Specializing in the performance horse, sports medicine, lameness, internal medicine and repro. We also provide emergency services and have haul in clinic facilities. 

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

We have portable digital radiology, ultrasonography, and scoping capabilities. We also provide extensive joint therapy treatments including regenerative therapies. 

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

We work 10 hour days 7:00-5:00 PM M-F with opportunities for emergency services on weekends and after hours. A 40 hour week is preferred but opportunities for 50+ hours are available if the student would like. Students are expected help assist veterinarians with procedures and help with animal restraint and handling.
