Description of Elective Experience

Sports Medicine, Performance horse based practice with some general medicine and Limited emergency services.

Focus on Top tier diagnostics, critical thinking, and Lameness for the Performance horse.  With integration of alternative therapies(i.e. acupucture, Chiropractic, laser, shockwave, etc.)

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

The student is expected to be involved in all appointments while there are at the elective.  To be available 24/7 to get the most out of the experience.
