Description of Elective Experience

Be exposed to working in a progressive small animal practice, as well as ambulatory equine experience and internal medicine consults.

Pawling Animal Clinic is a 3 doctor, small animal practice. One of the owners is DACVIM (Equine). 

In hospital equipment includes: CR Xray and digital dental xrays.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

Students are expected to work close to a 40 hour work week. We are open Mon-Wed 830am-7pm, Thurs&Fri 9am-530pm and Sat 830am-3pm. Hours may be split between Pawling Animal Clinic and equine experience if desired. A combination of shadowing and actual support by students is ideal.
