-Primary case responsibility for hospitalized patients
-Hands on surgery experience/Scrub in
-Dedicated teaching time from GPs and board certified internist-Urgent care monitoring, treatments and involved in developing therapeutic plan for hospitalized pets
-Ability to write SOAPs and create differential lists and encouraging discussion
- Prioritizing problems and treatments based on physical exams, ultrasound findings, reading radiographs and interpreting labwork
DACVIM on site, fundamental veterinary texts, vin
40 hours a week. 4-5 days/week depending on student preference. Hours will also vary depending on student preference - daytime and overnight hours available. Case responsibility (exams, ultrasound, radiology interpretation, labwork evaluation, etc) , client communication and scrub-in surgeries to be expected.
