At My Vet Animal Hospital, we do things a little differently — and we’re proud of it. Located in the heart of Westerville, Ohio, we’re an AAHA-accredited, full-service hospital offering both general practice and urgent care under one roof. Our team provides high-quality medicine in a fast-paced, supportive environment where learning never stops and teamwork comes first.

Externs will gain hands-on experience with:

  • Comprehensive case management from wellness to emergency care
  • Urgent care triage and treatment in a collaborative setting
  • Exotic pet medicine and surgery (small mammals, reptiles, birds)
  • Soft tissue surgery and dental procedures
  • Exposure to in-house consulting specialists in oncology, internal medicine, and critical care

Our 10,000+ sq ft facility includes 11 exam rooms, 2 surgical suites, a dual dental suite, and a large treatment area designed to support learning and collaboration.

Global fast trained ultrasonography, digital xray, surgical laser

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

40hr/week, 4 day work week, anticipate actual support with any/all cases/surgeries the student is comfortable with. Want student to gain as much experience as possible.
