Description of Elective Experience

General small animal practice. Experience will include medicine, imaging (radiography, ultrasound, and CT) and surgery.  Some of the medicine, imaging, and surgery will be working with specialists in that field.  Some of the medicine, imaging, and surgery will be with a general practitioner.

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

ACVR interpretation of radiographs and CT's.  ACVIM oversight with chemotherapy.  Rounds with an ACVR.  Consultations with ACVIM and ACVS.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

Student will be involved with shadowing, participating in procedures and surgeries, participating in client communication, and presenting cases during rounds.  The work schedule will be Monday - Friday
