Description of Elective Experience

We are a 24/7/365 Emergency hospital for Small Animal. We also have a surgical and dental center as well as an Internist that preforms regular ultrasounds and procedures onsite.

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

Full support staff (Techs, VA and CSRs), nine staffed doctors, and 33 relief doctors.

Two surgical areas, full dental suite, dental x-ray, whole body x-ray, ultrasound, tono-pen, full diagnostic in- house lab, ligature gun, etc. 

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

The hospital is flexible due to being fully staffed.
