Description of Elective Experience

2 week externship in emergency and critical care department

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

Referral and ER center - surgery, internal medicine, neurology, dermatology, radiation oncology, critical care, emergency. Fluoroscopy, endoscopy, CT, linear accelerator and MRI on site

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

4 - 10 hour shifts a week working 1:1 with boarded criticalist or ER doctor. Participation in any rounds/ case studies, etc.
