Description of Elective Experience

Student will experience daily routine of general practice including preventive medicine and wellness care as well as creating diagnostic work ups and treatment plans.  Students are encouraged to gain hands on experience with exams, minor procedures/treatments, sample collections, etc.  Student will have the opportunity to experience various surgeries, possibly regenerative (pending availability), rehabilitation and physical therapy cases, and urgent care.  

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

Brand new digital radiology, dental radiology, ultrasound, class 3 and class 4 laser, surgical laser, regenerative medicine (stem cell and PRP) 

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

Student is expected to compete 40 hours per week, which can be split between primary care, surgery, urgent care, and/or rehab.
