Description of Elective Experience

Exposure to all aspects of  a small animal practice including but not limited to medicine, surgery, management, organization, software management, client communication, staffing. 

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

Owner and associate DVM’s, nursing and nursing assistant staff, front desk staff, office manager, practice manager. Equipment: digital X-ray, digital dental X-ray, endoscopy, US, extensive surgical equipment, infinity software. 

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

Hands on assistance of all aspects of hospital from front desk to nursing to shadowing and assisting associate DVMs.
