Description of Elective Experience

We are a corporate owned (Amerivet) clinic in Grass Lake, MI. The practice is in a rural area with longtime residents and clientele. We are exclusively small animal. Small staff of 9 total: 2 DVMs, 1 PM, 2 LVTs, 2 VAs, 2 CSRs. We have a very collaborative and welcoming team and all are willing to teach and answer questions.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

M: 8-6:30, T: 8-6:30, W: CLOSED, Th: 8-5 (only 1 DVM in hospital), F: 8-5

Student will be shadowing DVMs with opportunity for growth, questions, and development. Occasional hands-on support may be requested.
