Shadowing and assisting the doctor and staff in general small animal integrative holistic practice appointments and surgical procedures. Improving communication skills with clients by discussing treatment plans, differentials, client concerns and cost of treatment. Potentially counseling clients through quality of life assessment and end of life decisions.
We are a single practitioner small animal integrative holistic medicine general practice. We offer routine well care, surgeries, dental procedures, digital radiology, cold laser therapy, Phovia light therapy, nutrition consultation and nutraceutical therapies and supplementation. We pride ourselves on taking the time with our patients and clients to thoroughly communicate, improve comfort, lessen anxiety and improve compliance for the best possible outcomes.
Assisting in appointments as well as surgical and dental procedures. Students will be asked to take the lead on different cases both in the communication with the clients and the plan for treatment, all under my supervision. We see appointments on Mondays 9-5, Tuesdays 9-5, Wednesday afternoons 1-7, Fridays 9-3, select Saturdays 9-1. We perform surgeries and dental procedures on Wednesday mornings.
