EcoLife Expeditions employ a variety of professionals, within their resected fields, to educate and train students throughout the placement period. These professionals include veterinarians, veterinary technicians, pathologists, ecologists and wildlife capture, care, move and release specialists. The main focus of the placement is to give students a chance to work on their practical skills in the wildlife industry.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

Students are required to learn from their peers and then apply their learned skills in practice. Skills are taught in classroom settings by means of lectures and demonstrations as well as in field and laboratory skills training. Students are required to be fully involved in all activities and discussion and training sessions held during daytime hours. Participation hours differ from day to day with activities and training offered on the majority of days.
