Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

Follow the schedule made for the externship.

Be curious and ask questions of the team.

Pitch in and help as needed.

Follow the directions of the DVM, work within their observation and guidance.

Dress for hands on experience.

Interact with the team in a professional manner.

Typically M-F, rotating shifts based off of specialty. 8-10 hours per day.
