Description of Elective Experience

Assist doctors on ambulatory calls, hospital cases, breeding and foaling mares.

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

4-doctor, equine only practice. Dr Kloppe is board certified in Theriogenology. DR radiology, three ultrasounds, endoscope, 4 power dental floats.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

8-5 m-f. 8-noon Sat. Emergency call 24-7.

at facility. no cost, no pets.
