Description of Elective Experience

Student will see a variety of large animals from beef and dairy cattle, pigs, small ruminants, camelids, and cervids

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

3 doctors, 3 technicians, other support staff (receptionists, assistants). IDEXX lab equipment, digital radiography, etc.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

Student will shadow from approximately 8 am to 5 pm Monday-Friday with opportunities for on-call and Saturdays.
