Description of Elective Experience

If you are considering a career in mixed
animal practice, come spend some time with
the Cobb Veterinary Clinic team! We are a
three-doctor practice with a strong support
staff that will provide you with an excellent
hands-on learning opportunity. Our doctors
enjoy teaching and are eager to share their
experience with you! We enjoy a very diverse
medical and surgical caseload and are
equipped with digital x ray, ultrasound,
endoscopy, and an in-house laboratory. You
will have exposure to a large amount of equine
medicine and reproduction as well.

Physical exams (large & small animal)
Formulate treatment plans
Diagnostic interpretation
Assisting surgeon
Dentistry - includes equine
Client communication
Join DVM on emergency call
Anesthesia planning & monitoring
Maintain medical records
