Description of Elective Experience

Student will be shadowing a licensed veterinarian and will be exposed to a variety of medical and surgical cases. 

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

We are a full service small animal and exotics practice with 3 full time veterinarians and 11 full time support staff. We have digital imaging, ultrasound and AI imaging equipment and use AI scribing software for medical records.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

Student will be shadowing a licensed veterinarian during regular office hours.  Work may include animal handling and assistance in procedures.
