CityVet Alamo Heights, TX

Description of Elective Experience

We are a progressive, fast paced, 4 doctor small animal practice with emphasis on surgery and medicine cases.  We have a growing, thriving urgent care practice Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 12pm - 10pm.  However, since opening urgent care we do see cases throughout the week that are fit into our normally scheduled GP appointments.  We pride ourselves on providing a learning environment for both doctors and support staff.  We provide orthopedic, soft tissue, urogenital, and general surgery options for our patients and their families.

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

Staffing - 4 doctors, a healthy support staff, and a groomer.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?
