Description of Elective Experience

Small animal full service hospital- community practice, urgent care, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery and dental services. Mentorship and practice management/ownership experience provided. 

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

Brand new hospital, digital full body radiographs, digital dental radiographs, ultrasound

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

Normal office hours 9-5 m-f, assist doctors and discuss case and workup. Scrub in and assist for surgeries.  Can meet after office hours to discuss different careers available in vet med, how to obtain work-life balance etc.
