Description of Elective Experience

Chippens Hill Veterinary Hospital teaches students primary care veterinary medicine and elective soft tissue surgery and dentistry.  We also commpliment western medicine with veterinary acupuncture, chinese herbal therapy, class IV laser therapy, and spinal manipulative therapy.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

Students are schedule 40 hours a week to learn physical exams, disease processes, treatment options, monitor anesthesia, and study specialty referral reports.
