CWVAH is a mixed animal practice located in rural WV. We serve a diverse clientele. We treat patients raining from cats, dogs, and farm animals. The student will assist the doctor with diagnostics, surgical procedures, and discussion.
We currently have digital radiology, ultrasound, laser therapy, in house diagnostics, anesthesia machines, and large animal equipment!
We have aquequant staffing, we have a great time with 2 RVT's.
Student will be responsible for primary case responsibility when deemed appropriate
Student will be responsible for charting medical records and communicating medication needs with clients
Students will participate in daily case discussions
Students will be allowed to assist in surgeries
Students will develop diagnostic plans
Student will be expected to perform physical exams
