Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

This is a three doctor mixed practice with 5 rvts and multiple csr. We are an amblitory practice serving Indiana and Ohio for general health, ob work as well as basic field services addressing medical and surgical concerns. We also see an average of 40 small animal case daily. We have ultrasound, digital radiographs, Co2 laser and cryo available as well as a full idexx in-house suite and available reference labs. Our practice fields our own after hours care as well.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

In this particular rotation the student will spend a majority of his time on ambulatory service. We plan on the student spending approximately 8 hours daily with one of the doctors (Monday through Friday) and giving the student the option to participate in longer days/after hours call if they so choose.
