Description of Elective Experience

BVCIM is a private practice veterinary business established in 1987. Over the years we have transitioned from strict Western Medicine to a fully integrative practice. Dr. Leah L Whipple , founder and sole veterinarin has been certified in acupuncture since 1998 and Western Herbal Medicine since 2018. The student will be exposed to acupuncture, herbal medicine and nutritional counseling.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

The student is expected to be present for the weeks total clinical hours Monday through Friday. She will be expected to shadow and help out with things such as herbal formulating.
