We like our externs to be as hands on as possible. Typically the extern will shadow one of the doctors for the first week and then the doctors will shadow the extern for the remainder of the visit.
We have a high tech to doctor ratio 1:3. digital xrays, inhouse blood work, dental xrays, laser therapy
We are open from 7-6pm. I expect the students to be here from 7am- at least 4pm and then they can stay longer if they choose to. days of the week are subject to how many days they are expected to be here from the school. we are open monday- Saturday. I do not expect them to be here Saturdays unless they need additional days. Typically the extern will shadow one of the doctors for the first week and then the doctors will shadow the extern for the remainder of the visit. I do also allow the students to do surgery as longer as owners give consent which they typically do.
