Description of Elective Experience

Partner with DVM to work through medical and surgical cases.  Perform physical exams, create differentials lists and diagnostic recommendations, and create treatments plans.  Develop surgical skills and participate in soft tissue surgeries and dental prophylaxis as available.

2 DVMs, 5 RVTs, 2 VA

In-house bloodwork and urinalysis, radiology, dental radiographs, quick scan ultrasound 

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

4-5 days a week, 40 hours.
