Mixed animal Practice in Central Valley of California

50% Dairy Herd Health and Reproduction Practice, Consultation services, Milk Quality Lab

50% Small Animal General practice - Medicine, Surgery, Dentistry, Shelter Medicine

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

8 doctor practice, 3 RVT, 1 milk quality lab technician

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

Dairy Herd Health check/visits each morning with one doctor

Rest of work day is up to student to assist, help, learn in small animal clinic, with appointments, surgery, dentistry and shelter medicine

Opportunities are available for scheduled food animal calls and emergencies

Monday through Friday - day can start at 5am and go to 7pm, generally an 8 hour day
