Description of Elective Experience

Student will be following the veterinarians in either Dentistry, Surgery, and/or Emergency. Students can observe, speak with clients, perform PE, scrub in surgery, and perform procedures with supervision. 

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

We are a fully equipped ER and specialty hospital.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

Student lead hours depending on specialty and preference. ER is open 24/7, with the busiest times from 6pm-11pm and weekends.
