Description of Elective Experience

Patient work ups, general well visits, surgery

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

digital x-ray, surgical laser, therapy laser, dental unit, TonoVet, Idexx Vet Lab in-house laboratory, ultrasound, computerized records and an enthusiastic and well trained RVT support staff of 5.  Our practice is mainly small animal but does have an excellent large animal facility

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

The student will work with Dr. Cathrine Darr in actual support  Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 6 am-8pm and Wednesday 6 am to 4 pm during office hours.
