Description of Elective Experience

Hands-on experience with small and exotic animal medicine and surgery. 

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

We have 5 full-time veterinarians with over 35 years combined small/exotic animal experience. We offer a wide variety of services at this practice, including but not limited to preventative care, digital radiology, in-house and off site laboratory testing, dental procedures, exotic pet management and a wide variety of other routine and non-routine surgical procedures. 

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

Student must work a minimum of 40 hours per week observing and/or supporting the veterinarians with their patient cases.
