Description of Elective Experience

We are a general mixed animal practice in rural central Kentucky. Students can get hands on experience in all aspects of practice and multiple species. 

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

We expect students to show up and do as much as they feel confident doing. That may include general exams, surgeries, herdwork, etc. We never want a student to be overwhelmed, but we do expect them to do hands on work that is consistent with their level of training.
