Description of Elective Experience

General practice with exotic patients, surgery 2-3 days per week. 

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.

3 veterinarians overlapping shifts

4 vet tech and Vet assistants

Digital X-ray, full blood work and UA in house, cytology in house, electro cautery surgery, low level laser therapy

options for further diagnostics and therapeutical approach with access to other collaborative clinics

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?

Students will be involved in case work up, diagnostics and treatment, client communication. 
Mon and Tues hours are 8-5
Wed hours are  for 2 vets 8-5/ for 1 vet 12-8

Thur and Fri hours  for 1 vet 8-5/ for 1 vet 10-8

sat hours are 8-12
