Our hospital provides comprehensive general practice services alongside advanced diagnostics and surgical capabilities. Externs will gain exposure to in-house ultrasound, complex soft tissue procedures, and orthopedic surgeries—including TPLOs and other common orthopedic repairs. In addition to routine care, our team manages urgent and emergent cases, offering valuable experience in triage, critical thinking, and real-time decision-making.
This externship is designed to be highly interactive and mentorship-driven. You’ll work closely with our experienced veterinarians, who are committed to teaching, case discussion, and helping you build confidence in both clinical and communication skills. Whether your interests lie in surgery, internal medicine, or emergency care, you’ll have the opportunity to tailor your experience and actively participate in cases.
What to expect:
